Achiever Blue Badge Management
In these tough economic times public sector organisations are looking to find ways of reducing costs whilst trying to maintain and improve services. With more and more customers carrying out transactions online public sector organisations are turning to technology to help reduce administration and offer customers an improved level of service.
Achiever’s Blue Badge Management system has been designed in conjunction with leading public sector bodies to streamline the process of managing blue badge and parking permit applications. By offering customers the ability to apply and renew online (including managing online payments) the administration time required in the processing of paper forms is dramatically reduced and enables applications to be processed more efficiently. With tens of thousands of applications being processed each year by each council, enabling customers to check on the progress of their applications online coupled with the ability to report a lost or stolen badge reduces the number of calls into the Contact Centre.
Achiever’s Blue Badge management system also enables partners, such as police forces and traffic enforcement authorities, secure access to review and check applicant details to manage fraudulent and invalid applications. Appeals and queries about applications are processed by the system ensuring a consistent approach.
Achiever’s Blue Badge management system with its automated renewal notification system allows public sector authorities to increase the services offered and facilitates a more proactive approach to customer service.
Integrated reporting and analysis enables supervisors and managers to review the Blue Badge function including the number of applications received, successful and average time taken to process each application. In addition, the Achiever Blue Badge management system facilitates the generation of the council’s annual report that is submitted to the Department for Transport (DfT) to provide statistics on the number of Blue Badges issued.
