LIMS/CRM Application Trainer and Tester – Full Time post

The life-sciences industry is evolving and growing rapidly, and this is an exciting time for a professional Application Trainer/Tester with in-depth laboratory or CRM knowledge/experience coupled with strong application training and testing skills to join the company’s Professional Services team.

The Application Trainer/Tester will be responsible for creating test scripts, executing tests, and writing and delivering training materials on the ‘out-of-the-box’ and configured application.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience working as a Trainer/Tester on commercial application or LIMS projects in regulated environments.

Reporting to the Application Implementation Consultant your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with development and business analysts on informal and formal testing including creating, updating, and running validation documentation and test scripts
  • Creating, maintaining, and delivering high quality printed and digital training materials to both internal and external customers
  • Creating and delivering online and in-person training sessions to internal and external customers
  • Delivering product training and supporting user acceptance testing sessions with clients

Required Experience

Min of 3 years’ experience as an Application Trainer/Tester implementing commercial LIMS or CRM applications

Essential Skills

  • Strong application training skills and ability to work with the customers’ teams to elicit training requirements and deliver standard and customised training sessions
  • Strong commercial application testing experience
  • Experience designing and delivering test scripts, test reports and training materials for internal and external customers
  • Experience testing and training internal and external users on GxP, validated or highly secure applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
  • LIMS or CRM application knowledge and experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst on LIMS projects in regulated environments.

Essential Skills

  • Strong laboratory experience/knowledge coupled with Business Analysis skills and ability to work with the customers’ teams to elicit requirements
  • Experience and skills to articulate requirements into solutions and system designs
  • Experience implementing GxP applications
  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternative approaches to solving problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience of working on data transformation and integration projects
  • Experience of application change and release management
